Redoubt, Alaska - 2003; This mother brown bear with her cubs was standing high on a boulder eagerly waiting for salmon to swim by in the river below. Once spotted, she would practically do a belly flop into the water to snatch hold. She was fairly successful, catching one for every ten attempts and returning the salmon to her cubs where they would all share in the feast.
