4045 – Zebras Fighting
Tanzania - 2007; Zebras are one of the world’s most distinctive animals with their horse-like bodies covered in black and white stripes. And, interestingly enough, each zebra has its own unique pattern of stripes much like that of a human fingerprint. Zebras are characteristically very social and live in groups consisting of one stallion with up to six mares and their foals. Bachelor males either live alone or with large herds until they are old enough to challenge a breeding stallion. When one gives up, the stronger male will remain and the other will move on to find a new harem.
